In-House Training

Bring Practical Labour Relations Training Into Your Organisation

Organisations often need training that reflects the realities of their own workplace. Thinasonke Consulting provides in-house training designed to bring practical labour-relations knowledge and workplace learning directly into an organisation.

Our in-house training allows organisations to develop relevant knowledge and practical capability within the context in which their employees work, using Skills Programmes and workshops that connect professional learning with workplace application.

What it is

Training Designed Around Your Organisation

In-house training provides an opportunity to develop workplace knowledge and practical capability within the organisation itself. Rather than separating learning from the environment in which people work, training can be delivered with the organisation's workplace context in mind.

Thinasonke Consulting provides in-house learning around relevant Skills Programmes and workshops, allowing organisations to focus on areas of labour relations and workplace practice that are relevant to their employees and organisational needs.

In-house training is a delivery option. Thinasonke Consulting can deliver applicable Skills Programmes / Workshops specifically for an organisation, rather than requiring individual employees to attend an independently scheduled programme. The individual Skills Programme pages remain the authoritative source for programme information.

Programme selection

Choose From Our Skills Programmes

Organisations can select from Thinasonke Consulting's existing Skills Programmes according to their workplace learning requirements. These programmes cover practical areas of labour relations, workplace relationships and dispute resolution and can be considered for delivery within an organisational setting.

The same Skills Programmes available to individual learners can also be delivered in-house. This means organisations can explore the programme content first and identify the learning areas most relevant to their teams.

The in-house difference

Designed for Your Organisation

Learning becomes more relevant when it is connected to the environment in which people work. In-house training provides an opportunity for an organisation to bring professional learning into its own workplace context and develop knowledge around areas that are relevant to its employees.

Thinasonke Consulting delivers selected Skills Programmes and workshops within an organisational setting, allowing participants to engage with the subject matter in a way that connects professional knowledge with practical workplace responsibilities.

Audience

Who Is In-House Training For?

In-house training is intended for organisations that want to develop labour-relations knowledge and practical workplace capability among their employees.

It may be relevant where an organisation wants to provide focused learning to a group of employees, strengthen understanding of workplace responsibilities or develop knowledge in a particular area of labour relations or dispute resolution.

The appropriate programme will depend on the organisation's learning requirements and the areas of knowledge it wishes to develop.

In-house training is intended for organisations seeking to develop the labour-relations capabilities of their employees.

Process

How In-House Training Works

In-house training begins with an understanding of the organisation's learning requirements and the areas of workplace knowledge it wishes to develop. From there, the appropriate Skills Programme or workshop can be identified, arrangements agreed and training delivered within the organisation.

The process is designed to provide a clear pathway from initial enquiry through programme selection and delivery, with the opportunity to discuss further learning or workplace training requirements afterwards.

  1. Step 01

    Enquiry

The organisation contacts Thinasonke Consulting to discuss its training requirements, the areas of labour-relations knowledge it wishes to develop and the employees or team members who may participate.

  2. Step 02

    Programme Selection

Together, the organisation and Thinasonke Consulting identify the Skills Programme or workshop that is most relevant to the organisation's stated learning requirements. Organisations can review the available programmes before deciding which learning area to pursue.

  3. Step 03

    Delivery Arrangements

Once the programme has been identified, the practical arrangements for delivery are discussed and agreed with the organisation. This includes the arrangements necessary to organise the training for the participating employees or team.

  4. Step 04

    Delivery

The selected Skills Programme or workshop is delivered to the organisation's participating employees. Training focuses on connecting professional knowledge with practical workplace application and the realities of labour-relations practice.

  5. Step 05

    Continuing Support

Following the training, organisations can discuss further learning requirements or other areas in which additional workplace knowledge and capability may be useful. Where appropriate, relevant training can form part of a broader ongoing relationship through the Labour Relations Partnership Programme.
