About Us
Building Stronger Workplaces Through Knowledge and Experience
Thinasonke Consulting combines decades of practical labour-relations experience with professional training to help individuals and organisations navigate the realities of the workplace with greater confidence, competence and professionalism.

Who We Are
Practical Experience. Professional Knowledge. Lasting Value.
Thinasonke Consulting specialises in labour relations consulting and professional training, combining practical experience with knowledge that can be applied in real workplace environments.
We believe strong workplaces are built when people understand their responsibilities, organisations have effective systems and procedures, and labour law is applied fairly and consistently.
We do more than provide advice or deliver training. We aim to equip people, strengthen organisations and leave workplaces better than we found them.
Our Purpose
Knowledge That Creates Confidence
Lasting workplace success begins with people.
When people understand one another, follow clear procedures and operate within a fair legal framework, trust can grow, conflict can be reduced and organisations become stronger.
Our purpose is to develop the knowledge, competence and practical capability that enable individuals and organisations to manage workplace relationships with greater confidence and effectiveness.
How We Work
From Knowledge to Practical Application
Our advice is practical. Our training is experience-driven. Every engagement should provide value that extends beyond the immediate problem or learning experience.
Our objective is not simply to solve today's challenge, but to help organisations become more capable, compliant and prepared for the future.
- Practical application
- Professional competence
- Fair and consistent workplace practices
- Legal and procedural awareness
- Stronger organisational capability
- Sustainable results

Leadership
Principal Consultant
Principal Consultant
Bheki Khumalo
Bheki Khumalo is a qualified and accredited manager, labour-law specialist and industrial-relations practitioner with more than 40 years of professional experience.
His experience includes serving as a Part-Time Senior Commissioner of the CCMA, a Bargaining Council Arbitrator, and an accredited member of SASLAW. His practical experience spans labour law, dispute resolution, workplace relations and workplace compliance.
This depth of experience informs the way Thinasonke Consulting approaches both consulting and professional development: knowledge should not exist only in theory. It should be understood, tested and applied in the workplace.
A Career Built on Practical Experience
For Thinasonke Consulting, professional knowledge is strengthened by lived experience.
The organisation's philosophy reflects this directly: Thinasonke does not simply share information, but seeks to share decades of practical insight and proven solutions that continue creating value beyond the completion of an engagement.

Experience in Practice
Experience in Practice
Experience only creates value when it can be applied.
At Thinasonke Consulting, we recognise that workplace challenges rarely exist in isolation. They involve people, organisational systems, procedures and the legal framework within which an organisation operates.
Our approach therefore balances the human and legal dimensions of the workplace. The law provides structure and accountability, while respect, communication and understanding help create an environment in which those structures can work effectively.
This practical perspective informs our three areas of work:
Consulting
Practical professional guidance to help organisations manage labour relations, workplace challenges, compliance and disputes.
Explore ConsultingTraining
Professional skills development that connects knowledge with practical workplace application.
Explore TrainingPartnership
Ongoing support designed to help organisations strengthen their labour-relations capability over time.
Explore PartnershipOur Philosophy
People. Processes. The Law.
Effective workplaces require a balance between the human element of work, sound organisational processes and a fair and consistent legal framework.
We Lead Through Knowledge
Knowledge gives people the confidence to understand workplace responsibilities, make informed decisions and manage challenges effectively.
We Build Stronger Workplaces
We aim to strengthen the systems, processes and capabilities that allow organisations and their people to perform with greater confidence and consistency.
We Put People First
Workplaces are communities of people. Respect, communication and understanding remain central to building healthy and productive working relationships.
